BROWN CORD 
Title: Pro Trader Instructor

You must complete the Basic Requirement to earn your Brown Cord. If you’d like to participate in the Cord Promotions and be awarded the official Brown Cord Certificate and badge- recognizing your achievement, you must also complete the Participant Requirements.

Basic Requirements To Trade at the Brown Cord Level 

  • Member for more than 18 Months as Live Trader.
  • Completed the Academy to the Brown Cord Level.
  • Completed the Brown Cord Lessons, Projects, Test,  Survey, & Promotion Request.
  • Completed at Least 750 Live trades with the following performance:
    • At Least 50% Win Ratio 
    • At Least 50% Net Points of the Total Trades
  • Have requested and completed the Liaison call to move to 6-10 Contracts
  • Have traded live with 6-10 Contract trades for at least 50 trades with a specific performance for the last 20 trades of:
    • At Least 50% Win Ratio 
    • At Least 50% Net Points of the Total Trades 
  • Must show expertise in more than one Futures Market
    • Must have traded the DOW Emini live, with 2+ Contracts trades for at least 30 trades with a specific performance for the last 20 trades of:
    • At Least 50% Win Ratio 
    • At Least 50% Net Points of the Total Trades 

Participant Requirements To Be Promoted to Brown Cord Participant (Active Instructor)

  • Must meet Group Participation Requirements:
    • Have attended at least 4 Meetups in the last year
      Or
    • Participated as a guest in 3 (Additional) live trading sessions in the last two months.
  • Must have participated as a guest in 11 live trading sessions in the last 6 months. 
  • Must Complete the Instructor Interview with a committee:
    • 1 Master Trader or above
    • 1 Pro Trader or above
    • 1 Pro Trader Mentor
  • After the instructor interview, must have led at least 10 live trading sessions in the last 6 months.
  • Completed at least 11 Liaison Apprentice tasks in the last 6 months.
  • Completed at least 11 Mentor Apprentice tasks under the supervision of a Pro Trader Mentor, or above, in the last 6 months.
  • Must have performed at least 10 career Go Live calls.
